About Our Program

Bay Area Polo is a great chance to learn and play the sport of water polo or continue to grow your skills from the top coaches in the area. Our practices will be held at Saint Francis High School and will be coached by Brendon Reutebuch, SFHS Women’s Head Coach and nine time CCS champion, and Erin Inkster, SFHS Varsity Assistant for the past seven seasons. We are committed to high-level water polo training paired with strong fundamentals and intense competition. We design our training sessions to teach a variety of skills to athletes of varying abilities. We offer youth water polo to athletes ages 10-14. Girls and boys have the opportunity to learn from outstanding coaches while they master their skills in organized scrimmages and game situations. From shooting to passing to scrimmaging, players will gain strength in the areas needed to be successful in the water. Also, experienced high school players will be in the pool aiding in the development of your player.

Spring 2015 Youth Season is Here!

Hello everyone,

This is the first email going out about the spring session of Bay Area Polo. If you are receiving this email, you have played for us in the past, currently participate in our program, or have expressed interest in participating in water polo. Our future emails will go out only to those people who register with our program.

Below you will find the link to our Bay Area Polo website. On this site you will find information regarding the program, pricing, the practice dates, scrimmage dates, competition information, and our registration form. Our spring program will run from February 24th until May 7th.

Our program is based around players in 5th through 8th grade. Boys and girls of all levels are encouraged to participate. We will have practices every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at St. Francis High School. We are in the process of scheduling some individual scrimmages and will post the times/dates/opponent information as soon as it becomes available.

There are several tournaments scheduled for a few Sunday's during the course of the program. The tournament dates are March 8th, March 29th, and April 19th.

Specific pricing information can be found on the website. You can register using the Google form that is on bottom of the website. The information is sent directly to me, so if you would like a confirmation email, please just note that on the form.

In addition to registering for the team, please make sure you register on USA Water Polo under the club name "Bay AreaPolo". Our club number is 20222. If you want to try it out before you register, just put "TBD" as the registration number. If you plan to play this summer and/or fall, the earlier you register the better.

Coach Reutebuch and I are really looking forward to another great season. Our program has grown significantly over the last seven seasons and we are hoping to have an even larger group in our eighth spring. Please feel free to email either of us with any questions that you might have.

As always, please forward this along to anyone you know who might be interested in the program. If you would prefer for us to forward the information along, please send one of us an email address and we am happy to contact anyone who might be interested. If you have access to a pool between now and February 24th, we encourage you to get in the water and start swimming!

Thank you,

Coach Inkster and Coach Reutebuch
